Bespoke couture and fashion education — one house, one standard of craft.

Anjamè Couture creates wedding, evening and princess dresses around the woman who will wear them. Anjamè Fashion Academy — opening in 2027 — will teach the craft behind that work, drawing on three decades of hands-on experience.

The Couture House — The Anjamè Experience

A dress, made the way it should be — around you.

Every Anjamè Couture creation is built through direct, personal collaboration between designer and client. No two journeys look the same, but each follows the same unhurried care.

01

Consultation

We begin with a conversation — understanding the occasion, your personality, and the vision you're carrying for the day.

02

Design

Your vision is translated into a bespoke concept — silhouette, fabric and detail considered specifically for you.

03

Craft

The garment is constructed by hand with careful attention to finishing — the part of couture most people never see, and the part that matters most.

04

Fit & Refine

Fittings ensure the piece moves and sits exactly as it should, so it feels as exceptional as it looks.

05

The Moment

A finished creation, made for an occasion you'll remember — and made to be part of it.

A lookbook of bespoke work.

A selection of pieces created for clients over the years. Each design began as a conversation, and became something made for one woman, one occasion.

Where Her Story Begins

Three decades. One passion.

Fashion runs in the family. It began with her grandparents, who worked with needle and thread long before she did, and continued with her mother, who first pushed her toward sewing and design.

What started as something she was guided into became, over thirty years, something she couldn't imagine doing without. Along the way, the craft became less about the garment and more about the person who would wear it — and the day they'd wear it on.

"I've always believed a well-made garment should show its quality in the way it's finished — not just the way it looks in a photograph."

The Craft

Beauty is in the details.

A dress can look beautiful in a photograph. Couture is about how it's built — the seams you don't see, the finishing that holds, the fit that feels effortless because it was never left to chance.

AJConstruction
Construction

Structured from the inside out, so the finished silhouette holds its shape.

AJFinishing
Finishing

Hand-finished seams and edges — the details most people feel before they see.

AJFabric
Fabric

Fabric chosen to suit the occasion, the silhouette, and the way it needs to move.

AJFit

Refined through fittings until the garment feels as good as it looks.

More Than a Dress

Made to be part of the moment.

A wedding dress, an evening gown, a princess dress for a milestone occasion — these are pieces that become part of a memory. That's the part of this work that matters most: not just how a dress looks, but how someone feels wearing it on a day they'll carry with them.

Over the years, that's also meant creating dresses for people going through difficult circumstances, where doing so was possible — because the feeling a dress can give someone shouldn't only belong to those who can easily afford it.

This page reflects the values behind Anjamè's work. Specific details of individual circumstances are kept private out of respect for the people involved.

Coming 2027

Something is being stitched together.

Anjamè Fashion Academy is the next chapter of the house — practical fashion-making knowledge developed through decades of real-world couture experience. Construction, precision, creativity and confidence, learned by making.

What the Academy will teach

Six ideas. One standard of craft.

01 Foundation

Understand the fundamentals.

Terminology, fabrics, tools and the habits that make good work possible.

02 Technique

Practical sewing and construction.

Machine control, seams, patterns and building a garment in sequence.

03 Precision

Fit, finishing and detail.

Fittings, alterations, hems and the inside finishes most people never see.

04 Creativity

Translate ideas into garments.

Move from an idea or reference to a pattern, a cut and a finished piece.

05 Confidence

Work independently.

Build the judgement to solve problems and complete work on your own.

06 Craft

Quality lives in the construction.

The standard is in the finishing — not just the way it looks in a photograph.

Completion does not guarantee employment or business success.

The first course

The Foundation Course

Practical garment construction from first stitch to a finished garment — taught through demonstration, practice and individual feedback.

Designed for beginners and those with some home-sewing experience who want to build proper technique.
